The cottage is part of Sir High and Lady Angela Stucley's Hartland Abbey estate standing at the entrance to the Abbey stream. 'Probably hardly anybody has ever been to this exact spot but it's so romantic' Davies said to Andrea Charters of the North Devon Journal. He is certainly correct there! The cottage sits in a secluded cove which many walkers pass by as they ramble on the South West Coast path between Hartland Lighthouse and Hartland Quay.
